Credentials

I am a registered Clinical Psychological Associate in the Province of Ontario. I have completed my Master of Counseling Psychology in Toronto. I have developed treatment plans and provided therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups with various DSM-IV/TR diagnoses including Anxiety Disorders (e.g., Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Panic Attack Disorder, Specific Phobias, and General Anxiety Disorder), Mood Disorders (e.g., Depression), Somatic Disorders (e.g., Pain Disorders), etc. I have provided both long-term and short-term cognitive behavioural treatment to different patient populations. In addition I have extensive experience working in a hospital setting inpatient and outpatient.

I offer my services (psychological assessments and psychotherapy) to adults (18 and over). I am committed to providing ethical and quality psychological services to clients with a broad range of problems and background.

Psychological Associates undergo numerous years of education (Master level) and intense training after completing their academic work (five years of working under the supervision of a registered psychologist). They formally declare the areas of competency and demonstrate to the College of Psychologists that they are competent to practice independently within their declared areas.
