Confidentiality

Confidentiality is taken very seriously at all times. Clients are able to talk about anything in therapy, and it will remain confidential and private. I follow the confidentiality requirements of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and will be discussing rules of confidentiality and rare exceptions to confidentiality during our first meeting. Aside from these rare exceptions, everything discussed will remain completely confidential unless clients request that I share certain information with third party. In that case clients are asked to sign a consent form providing permission to release information.
